What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser to remember something, for example the language you chose. Similar tools (such as the browser's local storage) follow the same rules, and on this page we call them all «cookies».
Technical cookies: always on
They make the website work and don't require consent. They are first-party, meaning we set them, and they are not used to identify you:
- abitare_consenso remembers your cookie choices, so we don't ask on every page;
- lingua remembers the language you chose with the selector.
Statistics: only with your consent
If you accept «Analytics» cookies, we enable Microsoft Clarity, a Microsoft service that shows us in aggregate how the website is used: where people click, how far they scroll, which pages cause trouble. Clarity also records anonymised sessions, with the text you type in forms masked.
Before you consent, the Clarity script is not even downloaded. If you withdraw consent, the page reloads without the script.
Microsoft handles this data as described in its privacy statement.
Maps
Some pages show an interactive map. The map images (the «tiles») come from OpenStreetMap's servers (or from the map provider credited in the bottom-right corner of the map).
We load them only when the map comes into view as you scroll. At that moment your browser contacts those servers to download the images and, as with any web request, sends your IP address and browser information. We set no cookies for the map. If you don't scroll to the map, no request is made.
Home locations on the map are always approximate: the exact address is shared only after booking.
What we don't use
- No external fonts: the website's typefaces are hosted on our own servers.
- No advertising cookies and no social media pixels.
- No third-party videos or widgets loaded without you asking.

How to change your mind
You can change your choices at any time: withdrawal takes effect immediately.
You can also delete cookies in your browser settings: in that case, on your next visit, we'll ask again what you prefer.
